As we step off the plane onto the tarmac of Caticlan Airport, the warm tropical breeze immediately greets us, carrying with it the promise of adventure.
After a short ferry ride from Caticlan Jetty Port, we arrive at the island’s main hub, White Beach.
Today, excitement filled the air as my sister Judy and her Amigo team geared up for thrilling adventures like banana boat rides, UFO rides, and parasailing in Boracay. However, nature had other plans. As the rain started pouring down, our plans had to be canceled for safety reasons.
Despite the initial disappointment, Judy and her Amigo team didn’t let the rain dampen their spirits. Instead, they embraced the opportunity to bond in new ways. They explored cozy cafes, indulged in local delicacies, and even found some indoor activities to enjoy together.
While the adrenaline-pumping rides were missed, the camaraderie and laughter shared during this unexpected turn of events created memories that will last a lifetime. Sometimes, the best adventures happen when plans change, especially when you’re surrounded by great company like Judy and her Amigo team.
